We need to celebrate our blackness,in the day to day actions of our lives,by being responsible members within our community..we need to celebrate our blackness/we need to celebrate our blackness in the remembrance of slavery,for we African Americans are descendants of slaves..we need to celebrate our blackness/we need to celebrate our blackness when we witness the hope in our mommas eyes, the despair in our poppas sighs..we need to celebrate our blackness/We need to celebrate our blackness by embracing our varying hues,dark, caramel and fair..we need to celebrate our blackness/we need to celebrate our blackness in our hairstyles, being proud of that kink in our hair..we need to celebrate our blackness/we need to celebrate our blackness in our outward expression of fashion,having respect and dignity in the clothes that we wear..we need to celebrate our blackness/we need to celebrate our blackness in the way that we greet each other,eradicating the word "nigger" from our speech..we need to celebrate our blackness/we need to celebrate our blackness when we look into the faces of our children and inspire them to dream,dream to be all that they can possibly be..we need to celebrate our blackness/we need to celebrate our blackness by the way that we treat the black woman not B----es and ho's, but lady and queen..we need to celebrate our blackness/we need to celebrate our blackness in knowing that 6 million years ago the very first humans being black..we need to celebrate our blackness/we need to celebrate our blackness in knowing that all races and all creeds have African DNA..ALL!..we need to celebrate our blackness/we need to celebrate our blackness in knowing all of this.. that all mankind.. being black!..we need to celebrate that blackness..we need to celebrate our blackness.
