Looking for an intelligent, fit, financially secure, interesting black female to date I just turned 58, professional, articulate, African-American, never been married, no children, who does a variety of different things like tennis, golf, on 2 community boards, and I write mystery books in my spare time. I like stimulating conversation on current events and I believe all topics are open game. I'm afraid I meet too many people who are a little too limited in their thinking.

I'm gainfully employed with a small city in the Central Valley. I report into the Asst. City Manager. We're in the midst of budget hearings so it's been quite lively. We're in slightly better shape than most govt. institutions, but we have our challenges.

I'm probably one of those 'rare' males who can communicate verbally as well as the written word. What I haven't found is a female who does the same.
I play tennis and golf. My mate doesn't have to play either, but they must be physically active. I can do anything physically, so if she does a particular activity and wants a buddy, I could probably do it.

I do like having interesting conversations on all subject matters. I don't consider any topic taboo. I'm a free thinker. However, I find too many people aren't.

I like trying new things. I've done ballroom dancing, like trying new restaurants, although I do have a buddy who is close to a gourmet cook and I do get invited quite often to their house for new meals being tried. Its a lot of fun. I'm financially secure and would expect that out of my female partner. One day I'd like to take sailing lessons and there're a few other things on the bucket list. My partner needs to have good communication skills. They also need to feel comfortable in different social settings. I know a diverse amount of people.
