Nice guy, ready to finish I'm a SBM, 5'7" from SoCal, lived in SF a while, but am so much happier to call Oakland home now. Clean, trim, sane. Been making my living as a Theater Artist for a few years- acting and directing, teaching, with a bit of modeling on the side. Sometimes money is tight but generally it ia a joy to be doing something I care about.

Drink occasionally, am a lifelong comics reader, and can be found at karaoke more nights than not. I love to talk, love to listen, and ...well, other stuff.
I'm looking for love, happiness, fun. I want someone who is comfortable with her intellect, yet doesn't hide behind it.

You're Cute, but maybe not too girly (i.e. high heels rarely), in good shape (a few curves a-ok). Someone who feels as comfy Fine Dining as Picnicking, and maybe lives somewhere in the middle.

Please love the natural texture of your hair! Versatility is fine, but I'm not interested in chemicals weaves & extensions (no disrespect, just not my thing)

I don't get ---- up on height or skin tone. As long as you're comfortable with who and what you are I'm sure I'll love it.

I came to this site in hopes of finding someone with a similar background. Growing up Black in America has its own baggage; I'd like a partner who relates to that. More specifically, I was born in a Black community, but by school was immersed in mostly white communities. I'm cool with the mix, but want someone who understands and respects my black identity and culture w/o either sticking me in a Black 'box' or ignoring my heritage (as 'color blind' acvocates can do)

I dance a little, sing alot. Generally I prefer doing to watching, though I'm happy to see friends perform.

I usually avoid TV (tho the ocassional binge is irresistable). A little outdoors (hiking & such), is fine.

I usually make quick friends w/ pets, but figure I'd hold off having my own again until there is a family in the mix.

I'm happiest just talking, visiting, hanging out, being creative.
