i am from south africa and here in the USA as an exchange student.i am an infant in online dating mainly because i appreciate personal interaction more.however my friends did encourage me to join this site.i am an optimist and i will try most sensible things once before i completely disregard them. i would describe myself as an artistic intellectual.i believe that in everything you have to strike a balance.i am driven and ambitious but also am a firm believer in working hard for everything.i am a peaceful individual-i feel that drama should be saved for the stage.i believe that time is of the essence so i always appreciate honesty as opposed to edited versions of potential disaster.besides that fact, i am generally receptive of people as i find that i pick up traits of who i am and what i need to work on based on how people treat me.i value relationships a lot.
i am a God-fearing woman.i dont know any other way to be or believe.its important that the man i am with understands,respects and share in this value.i am hopeless romantic-apparently to romantic for my own good but i just feel romance is such a unique experience that you can't give it anything less than your best.as a result of that i am cautious in who i let into that sacred space so gentlemen when i take my time i am not brushing you off-i am simply collecting data(dating).unfortunately too many have walked away thinking the delay was a denial.

what makes me unique is my ability to take in a situation for what it is before i act.sometimes we fail to pick up lessons/cues/opportunities because of premature reactions.my best quality would be my mental ability -that's what i have always relied on before looks or anything else.many times i have been required to downplay this attribute.for me that's like asking me to downplay 98% of what makes me me.my taste in music is neo soul,gospel and very good
