Long time coming? I've never put much stock in the importance of race. And on the rare occasion that I've been drawn into or involved in conversations about race I always find myself getting... so... angry. I take an interest in it historically speaking and socially speaking, but I don't believe in 'race'. I believe in cultures. and I believe in heritages. But because I live in a world that accepts this social construct as a reality I'm going to need to deal with it aren't I?
