Looking for friendship first... I am a person who can enjoy the simple, subtle things in life as well as appreciate the flamboyant and everything in between. I am loyal, honest, and quite frank about myself. I don't like pretensions because I feel that they get in the way of being able to appreciate all that a person is...good or bad! I like to 'pick brains', so I enjoy everything from light conversation to passionate debate...as long as we don't go away angry. I'm way outside of the box when it comes to relationships, so I appreciate a deep thinker (I'm liable to ask NOT what your favorite color is, but WHY it's your favorite color!). I embrace life, know how to laugh at myself (and do so often). Due to my fascination with people, I would love to travel the world one day, exploring not the usual tourist sights (though there's nothing wrong with that) but the less beaten paths. Until then, I travel through one of my favorite pastimes...reading!

I have a fantastic relationship with food! I enjoy the subtleties and nuances of flavors from the comfort foods of old to the tantalizingly exotic. I will try ALMOST anything at least once...though there are a scant few things I couldn't get past my lips if I tried. Lobster is way up there at the top of my list of sublime foods!

I am looking forward to meeting a wonderful friend. For me, getting to truly know someone is extremely important, and is the basic foundation for any relationship no matter where it leads.
